I have a commercial with Elizabeth Montgomery & Dick York, in character on the Bewitched set plugging some food product (I presume by Quaker Oats). Would it be safe to upload? It is a good 1967 commercial, though the colour is badly faded to the point that it looks almost sepia-tone.

Yes, ads are usually OK. They rarely have a copyright notice and, more importantly, most qualify as "published" under the definition in the law at the time.

Ok, thanks...I'll upload it when I get back from my walk to the Milkbar (I bet Video-Cellar is the only one here apart from me who knows what a Milkbar is, LOL).

Matt;
2 references from Clockwork Oranges:
1. Milkbar where all the "Droogs" hang out
2. The Singing in the Rain part comes from where
McDowell's gang (in the film) are "beatin' the piss"
(in the film) out of an old man with cricket bats and
singing "singin' in the Rain" while doing it.

They used cricket bats? I know Dim liked to use a chain while Alex's weapon-of-choice was a cane with a knife hidden in the handle. As far as what Pete and Georgie used, I don't remember.
